N.C Decay Scanner, the free WordPress plugin in the N.C Decay Scanner / N.C Decay Fixer product family, is now live on WordPress.org.

This is the public marketplace release for the scanner side of the workflow: a free way to connect Google Search Console, scan published WordPress content, and identify pages that may be losing clicks, impressions, or average position.

What the free scanner does

  • Connects to Google Search Console from inside WordPress.
  • Runs live scans for published posts and pages.
  • Scores opportunities based on click loss, impression loss, ranking movement, and demand.
  • Gives editors an opportunity queue with filters, owners, notes, statuses, and CSV export.
  • Includes demo data so teams can preview the workflow before connecting a real property.

N.C Decay Scanner is meant for discovery and triage. It helps you figure out which existing pages deserve attention before the refresh work starts.

Where N.C Decay Fixer fits

N.C Decay Fixer is the premium companion for teams that want to move from finding decay into fixing it. The premium workflow is focused on AI refresh briefs, safe draft creation, scheduled alerts, multi-site licensing, and support.

That split keeps the WordPress.org plugin useful on its own while giving teams a clear upgrade path when they need production tools around the pages Scanner finds.
